Have You Carved Your Halloween Pumpkin? We’ve Done Ours! 🎃
It’s that spooky time of year again! 🎃 Halloween is here, and with it comes one of our favourite traditions — pumpkin carving.
But have you ever wondered why we carve pumpkins? 🎃 The tradition comes from an old Irish legend about “Stingy Jack.” People used to carve faces into turnips and place candles inside to ward off evil spirits. When Irish immigrants went to America, they discovered pumpkins — larger, easier to carve, and perfect for creating those glowing Halloween faces we all love.
Here at Justwipe, we’ve carved our pumpkin for the year, 🎃 and it’s looking rather good (even if we say so ourselves!).
